Molly Torch Judaica Artist

I have been making mezuzot out of polymer clays for over 10 years now.  I started making them when I bought my first home and needed to adorn several doors at once.  I had been making jewelry out of the clay for 5 years before that.  I love working with polymer clay because I can create any color or shape I want to make unique designs. I enjoy making mezuzot that people want to touch and look at from accross the room.  I love that people have put my designs in their Jewish homes across the US and abroad!    How wonderful to be able to help people fufill the mitzvah of Deut. 6:4-9, to keep His words constantly in our minds and in our hearts!

I have recently decided to branch out a bit from making mezuzot.  I was inspired by my oldest daughter who is trying to learn the Hebrew Alef-Bet in her religious school class.  I was telling her that these symbols have connected the Jewish people for thousands of years all over the world  through  the Torah.  So, I wanted to make a version of the Alef-Bet in clay tiles.  I love the way they turned out!  I got the color scheme from reading a library book about a penguin to my little 4 year old.

I hope you'll take the time to look at all of the photos on my site.  Keep in mind, I'm much better with clay than I am with a camera!  I think that all of my work looks better in person!  If you have anything in mind that you don't see, e-mail me and I'll see if I can help you!  Add my site to your favorties list so you can watch for new designs coming soon!  Thanks for checking out my site!
